eCOM Becomes Ford’s EDI Supplier in China

      eCOM has successfully joined Ford as one of its authorized EDI suppliers in China. The selection process requires Ford’s suppliers have EDI capabilities with the North American Ford EDI data exchange. Ford has commissioned only three EDI service providers for its Chinese suppliers. eCOM is the only company operating in China, with localized EDI data center features for its suppliers, through a locally established EDI HUB, allowing better and more efficient EDI solution deployments. With direct and global deployments, Ford suppliers in China utilize eCOM’s value-added network services to connect and exchange data with Ford’s GEC HUB transferring 830,862 transactions and 856 documents. Additionally, eCOM is also Ford’s EDI service provider in the Philippines.
