On June 28 2012, eCOM/ITAC strengthened its partnership with IBM by becoming IBM's local B2B SaaS (Software as a Service) VAN (Value Added-Network) provider in China. Through this alliance and via the ITAC VAN, IBM can now directly connect its global customers to their Chinese trading partners. As IBM’s local service provider in China, eCOM/ITAC upholds IBM’s dedication to efficient, secure infrastructures, and high quality service. These include all on-boarding, implementation, and customer support services. eCOM/ITAC is able to provide this to IBM through a government endorsed VATS (Value-Added Telecommunications Service) license issued by the MIIT (Ministry of Industry Information Technology) of China.
Established in 1996, eCOM has been an integral business partner of IBM/Sterling Commerce in Asia. With offices in the China, Hong Kong, and the Philippines, eCOM provides the best B2B/EDI collaborative service known as the ITAC VAN, operated by eCOM's subsidiary company ITAC.
