eCOM Group General Manager Horace Mak was invited to “ Data Centre Technical Framework Seminar”

       On April 9-12 2013, the eCOM Group presented at the “Data Centre Technical Framework Seminar” hosted by the Data Centre China Customs Department at the Customs General Administration of Education and Training Office in Xiamen. The Seminar included the following discussions:

1. Application framework planning situations and the core components in a standard data center design infrastructure.

2. Infrastructure that can be distributed to the Data Center as well as sharing of industry experiences by inviting well-known companies in application integration and B2B industries

3. The cooperation between the head office and its branches

4. The technical architecture for possible branch implementations in the future.

      Attendees included the department administrator of the Data Centre, the respective branch technical directors for Beijing, Tianjin, Dalian, Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Qingdao, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Gongbei, Huangpu, Nanning, Chongqing, Chengdu, Kunming, Xining, Urumqi, the Director of Application and Information Security Agency, Trainers, and other related Data Centre staff, who also presented at the Seminar. The eCOM Group’s General Manager Horace Mak and Assistant Director of Technology Philip Feng presented the eCOM E-Port Data Exchange solution based on eCOM’s B2B Framework. The Solution completely meets China Customs’ technical standards for data exchange and data center security. It also conforms to the China Customs data routing mechanism for data centers and has been authorized as one of the solutions for China's Customs Data Centre.
